Treatment Times:

Small Joint: 15-20 Watts for 5 Minutes, is the same for both lasers (same time, same results @ 6,000 joules)

Medium Joints: 30 Watts for 8 minutes, 45 Watts 5 Minutes to get 12,000 Joules

Large Joints: 30 Watts for 10 Minutes, 60 Watts 5 min to get 18,000 Joules

So, as far as time goes, if you get 30 watts you will need to do about 3 minutes longer on medium and large joints. Keep in mind that even our 30-watt unit delivers 1,800 joules a minute and the strongest cold laser will produce only 30.

Penetration: The Triwave 45/90 watt has 15-20 watts more power with the 1064 wavelength that will get you more penetration. 1-2 centimeters. Look at the attached wavelength education and current research study on the 1064 wavelength which is the deepest one.

Results: The 45-watt will deliver a hotter, deeper, and more analgesic effect which will get results faster.

Technology: The 45/90 Watt lasers are the future of laser technology and the 1064 wavelength. If you go with the 45 Watt Triwave you’ll have the best of all worlds with power, wavelengths, penetration and quick results. A more powerful laser puts you in front of laser technology, not on the cusp of the past. The 10/15-Watt lasers are basically obsolete so for chiropractors treating primarily large joints that are deep the 30-watt will be outdated in, my guess, 2-3 years. Everyone has always wanted more power, faster results, more penetration, less treatment time and more heat.

Why consider 90 Watts?

The 90 Watt is recommended for ANY Clinic because more power is better to activate discs and it reduces treatment time to 5 minutes so you can flow more patients with just one laser system. The Ultimate Triwave 90 Watt has 30 watts per diode of the 810/980/1064 wavelengths which creates the best results even on the lumbar discs and deepest of pathologies. The new 1064 provides faster pain relief and more penetration paired with the 980 for avascular tissue with great analgesia. The 810nm is best for vascular tissue healing.
